Rather than providing specific prices for a business for sale, we will often provide a price band. This is because we, and the seller, don’t want to disclose the asking price publicly.

It does not mean that the seller is looking to sell at the top end of the band, nor would they accept at the bottom end of the band. We think it’s just better than saying ‘Price on Application’ or giving buyers no idea at all of likely price.
